2018 Festival Artist

Erin Rae D’Eimon

Erin Rae was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and now resides in Homer. She has been painting since she was just a child.

“When I was little I was teased in school for making my skies purple and my love for colors and experimentation has only grown over the years. I like to paint stories and small moments. I’m inspired by instincts, science, growing things, singing things, colors, circles, healthy food, behavior, movement, strength, vulnerability, existence, sparkles, sleep, and love. I approach painting with a sense of childlike wonder and whimsy and I use painting to stay completely amazed by the world around me. I strive to capture the delicacy of life and the spaces in between it.”
