Host a 2025 Shorebird Festival-Specific Event

A Shorebird Festival-Specific Event is an event that is directly related to bird/wildlife viewing, environmental education.


  • Promotion: the event will be listed in the printed Festival program and on the Festival website.
  • Registration: administered by the Festival registration process.
  • Required Prepaid Listing Fee: $50 per event for businesses/nonprofit organizations OR $25 for nonprofit organizations that do not charge admission for their event 
  • Capacity: a maximum number is required; you may not list a minimum number of participants.
  • Revenue: 20% of the net revenue will be retained by the Festival; 80% will be paid to the host by May 31, 2025.

* A note about listing fees for multiple submissions: event listing fees are calculated per each unique event submission, rather than for each iteration of an event. For example: The Babes Only Birding Tour will be going out multiple time slots on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the festival. My other event, Kayaking with Kramer, will be going out multiple times on Wednesday. Despite there being many time slots, I will only be paying $100 to register my two events.
