Have you “fledged” from the Jr. Birder program or are you a teen looking for some new activities to do during the Shorebird Festival?
Well look no farther! Listed below are some new activities that we have developed to celebrate fledglings/teens. Register for the Shorebird Festival and sign up for one or more!
Teen Birder Activities
Wednesday, May 3rd: Mud Bay Family Walk – 3:30 – 5pm
Thursday, May 4th: Mud Bay Family Walk 3-4:30pm, Movie Night – 4-6:30pm,
Friday, May 5th: Owls & Local Owl Banding Talk – 3:00-4:00pm, Swallow Box Building – 4:30-6:00pm, Family Viewing Station – 6:30-7:30pm
Saturday, May 6th: Stencil a T-Shirt – 10:00am-12:00, Photography/Field Sketching – 10:00-11:00am, Meet Girdie the Crow with Bird TLC 2:00-3:30pm, Canine Officers of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service – 4:30-6:00pm, Bird Pottery/Painting Art Workshop – 5:00-8:00pm
Sunday, May 7th: Fat Bike Ride in search of swallows! 10:00am – 1:oopm
