Teen Birder Program

Have you “fledged” from the Jr. Birder program or are you a teen looking for some new activities to do during the Shorebird Festival?

Well look no farther!  Listed below are some new activities that we have developed to celebrate fledglings/teens.  Register for the Shorebird Festival and sign up for one or more!

Teen Birder Activities

Wednesday, May 8th: Beluga Slough Jr. Birder Walk – 3-4pm, Steller’s Jay Felt Craft – 4-6pm, Nature Journaling with Kim McNett – 4:30-6:30pm

Thursday, May 9th: KBNERR: Mud Bay Family Walk 3-4pm, Movie Night – 4-6:30pm,

Friday, May 10th: Birds, Trivia & You! – 5-7pm

Saturday, May 11th: Seabirds & Plastics: Investigation and Dissection 1pm to 3pm at KBC Campus,

Wings + Warblers Maker Lab at the Pratt – 1-2pm

Meet Girdie the Crow with Bird TLC – 2-3:30pm
